Sanatmetal is a 100% Hungarian-owned middle-sized company which manufactures and sells traumatological, spine surgical, dental, veterinary implants and joint replacement (hip and knee) prostheses..

The international recognition of our company is earned by its extraordinary product-innovation. The annual reports of the Hungarian Patent Office highlight the growing number of patents. Our range is widened by 1000 products every year. Our innovation power is proven by the National Quality Award, National Innovation Award, Hungarian Quality Product Award, The Most Dynamically Developing Small and Medium Enterprise of the Region Award, the Innovation Grand Award 2014 and the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office Innovation Award 2014.
We continuously cooperate with medical professors of Hungarian clinics (SOTE, SZOTE, POTE, DEOEC) combining the innovative ideas and their skills with the technical support of Universities and Institutes of Technology. We are systematically looking for the ideas of surgeons and nurses, summarizing the requirements of the three world-leading companies and supporting life quality improvement by advanced solutions. For achieving this, we keep our prices on a reasonable level and ensure that our systems and innovations are available for all users.
Management
The equity capital of our company is more than 7,3 million EUR, having 225 employees. Progress and stability are reflected by the fact that our revenue grew by 18% from 2013 to 2014. Our value-added figure is 40%. Based on this index we have been the 15th of the Top 50 companies in Heves region for several years. For the sake of innovation success we spend 9% of our income on Research & Development.
We are working together with several suppliers of the region (primarily tool supply, coolant-lubricating fluid supply, wagework and manufacturing aids in cooperation, machine maintenance, test laboratories, event management and other services) for whom the development of Sanatmetal is an outstanding opportunity to grow.
Products and manufacturing
Manufacturing more than 25.000 types of products from special Stainless steel and Titanium alloy is performed with state-of-the-art CNC machines; cleaning and packing is carried out in sterile working environment. The integrated management system (SMPS), management of customer and internal relationships (CRM), LEAN manufacturing system and other up-to-date methods and techniques serve to fulfill the customer needs.
Quality
The quality of the products is guaranteed not only by the material and physical parameters but the design, manufacturing and quality management according to harmonized European Union legal regulations (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 13485:2003, ISO 14001:2005). Our notified body is BRITISH STANDARDS INSTITUTION and EMKI.
Markets
70% of our income comes from export, our company is present in 35 countries in the American, Asian, European, Arabic and the CIS regions. In Hungary our company is market leader.
In company development we are on the way of becoming international, building our own distributor network (SM-Germany, SM-CIS, SM-Romania, SM-Turkey).
Our company is the recognized member of the field behind the multinational companies, our products are competed in international exhibitions (AAOS – USA, EFORT, Arab Health – Dubai, ESTES) and several national congresses (Russia, China, Germany, etc.).
